TeekaTalk has been created as a part of the HPV Vaccination program by Girl Effect India to help parents understand more about the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccine and how it can protect their daughters’ health.
TeekaTalk collects your 'Data,' meaning information about you, like your name, the state you come from, or how you use the chatbot, to improve its services and fulfill your needs. When we collect this data, we take the responsibility to store it safely while respecting your privacy. We prioritize your privacy and safety, which is also required by data protection and privacy law.
Before proceeding, we want to inform you about some important things:
- We believe that users should have all the necessary information about their data so that they can decide if they want to use this chatbot. That's why our privacy policy provides you with detailed information about what data is collected by the chatbot, what information we receive about users (you), how it is used, shared, and with whom.
- You have some rights over your data and our Privacy Policy sets these out in more detail. This includes rights like asking us to delete your data or explain how we use it. You can request to stop using TeekaTalk or ask us to delete your chat history and any saved information at any time.
- If you have any concerns or issues regarding TeekaTalk and our data management practices, you can always email us dataprotection.india@girleffect.org, and we will make every effort to respond to you promptly.
- If you are under 18, please talk to a parent, guardian, or trusted adult before using TeekaTalk.
- We do not ask for or store any private health information unless you choose to share it, and we will never share that with anyone without your permission.
- TeekaTalk is an automated chatbot and is not monitored by a real person. If you mention a medical emergency or a serious concern, please contact a doctor or local health center directly.
- Please be aware that when you use TeekaTalk on WhatsApp, WhatsApp also collects your information. We have no control over that. You can change your WhatsApp settings to protect your privacy. We do not have access to your private WhatsApp messages or contact list. Only the messages you send to TeekaTalk are stored — and only to help us improve the information we give.
